Salvatore's is one of Oakville's newest
Italian restaurant. It is a family owned business that has excellent service.
It has an upscale feel with white table clothes and formal place settings.
However, it doesn't have the high price tag with it. The service was extended
by being greeted by the host at the front door and wonderful waitress.
Throughout our meal we were also welcomed by both the owners who stopped by to
check everything was ok. They took the time to decant the red wine they serve.
We started our meal with the brochette which was almost the same taste as we
had in Italy. For dinner my companion and I had a pasta dish. I had a dish with
tomato sauce, ravioli and grounded veal. My companion had a wild mushroom,
truffle oil and cheese ravioli. Both dishes were fresh and wonderful tasting.
All of this is under $50 excluding your wine selection. My new favourite
restaurant
