Pic A Deli

Pic A Deli isn't what it used to be. It is the type of place where people can go play pool and have a beer while eating a corn beef sandwich. Although the place has been redecorated it is cheap looking. It has been taken over by new management and that is not a good thing. The previous chefs with their beer bellies cooked up with greasy goodness and tasty treats. Now the new owners have cut costs using cheaper products and this shows in the taste and quality of the food. My companion and I were at the Pic a Deli for breakfast recently and found the bacon fatty and tasteless. The home fries were under cooked and gritty. To give the new management a fair trial my companion and I went back another day for lunch and were disappointed with the sandwiches. Bottom line this use to be an Oakville landmark but under the new management it has become a restaurant the soon will be forgotten.
